Dealer History

Donnelly Group has been in the business for over 70 years now. Founded in 1947 by Peter Donnelly in Caledon, Northern Ireland he offered taxi services as well as vehicle repair. The Group is now the largest family-owned motor retailer in Northern Ireland with multiple locations and annual turnovers have reached £300 million.

The Group has dealerships in Belfast as well as some of Northern Ireland’s lesser populated areas which gives them an extensive reach across the country. They also aim to be a company that is “community-rooted” through their local investments and sponsorships.

Donnelly Group offers a wide variety of vehicles, including new cars, used cars and vans. The new car fleet contains cars from 18 leading brands such as Alfa Romeo, Citroen, Fiat, Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mitsubishi, Renault, Peugeot, Seat, Toyota, Suzuki, Volkswagen, Vauxhall, and Abarth.

In addition to their used and new sales, in each of their locations, Donnelly Group has Motability specialists and it boasts the second-largest Motability fleet in Northern Ireland. It has been providing wheelchair accessible vehicles since 2006 when they constructed their TBC – Taxi and Bus Conversions factory in Dungannon.
